Information & Expectations

The purpose of the Victim Impact Panel is to help offenders understand the real and lasting consequences of impaired driving. Victims and survivors share their personal stories—not to judge or blame—but to help prevent future tragedies.

Registration & Payment

  • All attendees must register in advance online at: https://www.andreasprojecttx.org/programs

  • Complete all required fields accurately. Use a valid email address to receive confirmation.

  • Fee: $50 per participant.

  • Payment is due at the time of registration. We accept:

    • Pre-payment by credit/debit card online (highly recommended to guarantee your seat), OR

    • Onsite payment by money order only (no cash, checks, or credit/debit cards accepted at the door).

  • Make money orders payable to Andrea’s Project. Include the participant’s full name and panel date in the memo line.

  • Scholarship Option: A limited number of scholarships are available to waive the $50 fee for individuals with financial hardship. Please select this option on the form and a staff from Andrea’s Project will contact you.

  • Seating is limited. Registration is first-come, first-served.

Arrival & Check-In

  • You must arrive at least 10 minutes before the panel begins.

  • Doors open at 5:30 PM. Check-in is from 5:30–5:50 PM.

  • Anyone arriving after 6:00 PM will not be admitted and will forfeit their registration fee.

Rescheduling Policy

  • If you need to reschedule your registration, you must contact Andrea’s Project at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled panel via email.

  • Rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of the event or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the registration fee.

Attendance Requirements

  • Unless court-ordered, individuals under 18 are not permitted to attend.

  • Full participation is required to receive a certificate of attendance.

  • Cell phone use is not allowed during the panel. If you are on your phone or not participating, you may be removed without refund.

Behavior Expectations

  • No alcohol or drug use prior to or during the panel. If you are suspected of being under the influence, law enforcement will be contacted and you will be removed without a refund.

  • Disrespectful or disruptive behavior will result in immediate removal with no refund.

  • If you leave early or are removed, you will not be re-admitted and must re-register and repay to attend a future session.

Proof of Attendance

  • Certificates are provided at the end of the panel.

  • It is your responsibility to keep this documentation and provide it to your court, probation officer, or supervising agency.

  • Andrea’s Project does not submit proof of attendance directly to the court.
